About the role
Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School is looking for a dedicated Primary Years Programme (PYP) Assistant Home Room Teacher to join its primary team. The successful candidate will work closely with the lead teacher to foster an inquiry‑based, student‑centered learning environment for young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering the PYP curriculum and daily lesson plans.
- Support students during classroom activities, ensuring a safe and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources that promote inquiry and critical thinking.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback under the guidance of the lead teacher.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching primary‑age children.
- Demonstrated focus on inquiry‑based and student‑centered learning approaches.
