Assembly Technician – Onsite in Baguio City

About the role

Moog is seeking an Assembly Technician to join its team in Baguio City, Philippines. Under the supervision of the Cell Leader, you will ensure the quality and reliability of servo valves and sub‑assemblies through precise assembly and testing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble servo valves and related sub‑assemblies according to detailed specifications.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, worksheets, and work instructions.
• Perform visual inspections to identify and address non‑conformities.
• Execute functional tests to verify performance and reliability.
• Apply Lean Management principles, problem‑solving techniques, and continuous‑improvement practices.
• Support the Moog Quality System with a Zero Defect mindset.

Required profile

• Graduate of a 3‑year technological course, or
• Graduate of a 2‑year trade course with at least 1 year related experience, or
• Graduate of a 6‑month vocational course with at least 2½ years related experience, or
• Completed at least 3 years of engineering studies with at least 1 year related experience, or
• Completed 4‑5 years of engineering studies.

Required skills

• Strong eye‑hand coordination for assembly and testing tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and worksheets.
• Proficiency in visual inspection of parts.
• Working knowledge of Lean Management System.
• Problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement capabilities.
• Zero Defect mindset supporting the Moog Quality System.
