ASP.NET MVC Software Developer

About the role

Amex GBT is looking for an ASP.NET MVC Software Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications that support travel services and business operations. You will work in a collaborative environment, modernising legacy systems and ensuring they meet cybersecurity and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex programming tasks to modernise legacy systems into an ASP.NET MVC environment.
• Migrate legacy applications to updated platforms, improving uptime and compliance.
• Diagnose, isolate, and resolve software issues; supervise system capacity and API connectivity.
• Create software documentation, architecture diagrams, and adhere to development and security standards.
• Provide Tier 2 technical support and complete disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate on system specifications, design architecture, conduct testing, and document source code.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with ASP.NET, C#, and MVC framework.
• 2+ years with jQuery, AJAX, and React.js.
• 3+ years working with SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Visual Studio 2019/2022.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, GIT source control, and API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI).
• Preferably background in the travel industry and online/offline booking systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
