Architect Designer & Operations Support

About the role

We are looking for an organized, proactive professional to support residential design projects and keep operations and project workflows running smoothly. This role goes beyond drafting, requiring ownership of design from concept through production while ensuring high‑quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Create and revise residential design drawings and construction documents.
• Produce accurate drawing sets with minimal supervision.
• Implement design revisions and maintain organized project files.
• Support design documentation and production workflows, ensuring consistency across deliverables.
• Track project details, action items, and deadlines.
• Follow up on missing information to keep projects moving forward.
• Maintain organized project documentation and file systems.
• Assist with workflow management, process improvements, and project coordination.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
• Self‑starter who takes initiative and works without constant direction.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office.

Required skills

• Proficiency with architectural design software such as Chief Architect, Autodesk Revit, SketchUp Pro, Archicad, or Home Designer Pro.
• Experience using project management platforms like JobTread or Buildertrend.
• Understanding of residential construction and design documentation.
