Architect – Data Centre Projects

About the role

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Architect to lead the design of mission‑critical data‑centre projects in the Philippines. You will shape layouts, drawings and specifications from concept through construction, collaborating across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality architectural plans, details and specifications for data‑centre facilities.
• Evaluate and adapt architectural techniques and criteria as required.
• Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings, resolving cross‑discipline issues.
• Support field construction by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs and conducting site walks.
• Provide technical guidance to junior designers and contribute to proposals and budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a valid PRC Architect license.
• 10+ years of architectural design experience, preferably with mission‑critical or industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of the Philippine Building Code, Fire Code and accessibility requirements.
• Experience with BIM workflows and common data environments such as BIM 360.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM 360 or similar BIM collaboration platforms.
• Ability to work with BIM workflows.
