Administrative Officer – Facilities Planning & Maintenance

About the role

China Banking Corporation is seeking a Registered Mechanical Engineer to join its Facilities Planning and Maintenance team as an Administrative Officer. The role ensures the efficient operation, upkeep, and improvement of the bank’s facilities and mechanical systems across its branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of building facilities, utilities, and mechanical systems.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to guarantee equipment reliability.
• Conduct facility inspections and recommend repairs, replacements, or enhancements.
• Review mechanical plans, specifications, and technical proposals for branch construction and renovation projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely, quality project delivery.
• Monitor service contracts and evaluate contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and government requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance plans, budgets, and project updates.
• Assist in planning and executing facilities enhancement initiatives across the bank’s branch network.

Required profile

• Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) status.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, engineering operations, construction, or project management.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, building utilities, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with engineering codes, safety regulations, and building standards.
