About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accounting Staff member with at least three years of general accounting experience. The role supports daily financial operations, ensures compliance with Philippine government regulations, and provides accurate financial reporting to aid management decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily spending and collections, maintaining the operational budget.
- Analyze financial trends and present recommendations to management.
- Process monthly government compliance filings (SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth, BIR) for a workforce of under 30 employees.
- Prepare and file E‑BIR 1601‑C, compute monthly KPIs, allowances, and sales incentives.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare cash vouchers, post expenditures, and reconcile bank statements.
- Assist in payroll preparation, collections, and receivables.
- Maintain accurate financial records and generate regular financial reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (BS Accountancy).
- At least 3 years of experience in general accounting.
- Strong understanding of accrual and cash‑basis accounting.
- Self‑starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and reliability.
Required skills
- QuickBooks (advantageous).
- Microsoft Excel.
- Google Sheets.
- Financial modeling and forecasting.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
