Accounting Officer

About the role

Vivant is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Officer to join its fast‑growing Cebu support team. The role supports accounting, billing, collections, accounts payable and financial reporting functions while working closely with clients, vendors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle accounting‑related email and call inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Review projects, tickets and tasks to ensure accurate client billing for completed work.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances and enforce company policy.
• Validate vendor invoices, coordinate payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with journal entries, general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
• Conduct periodic audits to verify billing and financial accuracy.
• Document workflows, standard procedures and training materials.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements, automation and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, billing, finance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
• International company exposure is a plus.
