Accounting Officer – Financial Reporting & Audit

About the role
The Accounting Officer supports management by delivering timely financial reports and ensuring compliance with internal policies. This role safeguards company assets through regular audit of branch transactions and leads the preparation of statutory financial statements and external reports.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate financial statements and reports required by government agencies.
- Conduct periodic audits of branch transactions to verify internal controls and asset protection.
- Assist management in decision‑making by providing up‑to‑date financial information.
- Maintain and monitor general, cost, and financial accounting records.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology or equivalent.
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification (not mandatory).
- Minimum three years of experience in general, cost, financial or basic accounting.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
