Accounting Officer (CPA)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Accounting Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will apply their CPA expertise to manage general accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day general accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and IFRS.
• Ensure tax compliance with BIR regulations and manage related filings.
• Maintain the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation – mandatory.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Background in audit, taxation, or corporate accounting is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of PFRS / IFRS.
• Understanding of Philippine tax regulations and BIR compliance.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Xero.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting.
