Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will support the Country Head in overseeing all accounting and finance functions for ASUS in the Philippines. This role ensures that local processes align with ASUS HQ policies and meet regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate financial operations with ASUS Headquarters and external stakeholders in line with the company’s strategy and vision.
• Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including daily accounting activities and financial management.
• Monitor internal cash flow, budgeting, and risk management to ensure financial accountability and operational efficiency.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow projections, and year‑end audits.
• Support quarterly and annual tax filings, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
• Ensure financial operations comply with both internal corporate policies and local statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business operations and financial planning.

Required profile

• Minimum ten (10) years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a managerial or leadership role within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting systems/software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership, detail‑oriented mindset, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management; CPA or Chartered Accountant qualification is a plus.
• Experience working with regional or multinational finance teams and managing cross‑border finance operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Willingness to be based in Ortigas, Pasig City.
