Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department, ensure compliance with GAAP, and provide accurate financial reporting. The role involves supervising staff, improving processes, and delivering timely financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train, and motivate accounting staff while supervising and delegating department tasks.
• Evaluate, develop, and improve controls, systems, and procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure timely completion of month‑end and year‑end reports.
• Ensure all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management, stakeholders, vendors, or lenders.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits or reconciliations as needed.
• Assist other departments with financial impact decisions and strategy development.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting management or a senior accounting role.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to relocate and to start as soon as possible.
• Commitment to comply with all relevant regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with bookkeeping software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial legislation.
