Accounting Manager

About the role

Our client seeks a hands‑on Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decisions. The role combines operational oversight with team leadership in a fast‑growing organization based in Metro Manila.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, cash flow monitoring, and month‑end closing.
• Prepare and present weekly, semi‑monthly and monthly financial reports, providing actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements and submit reports to government agencies.
• Analyze revenue, expenses and performance trends, managing financial risks.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of four accounting staff, monitoring KPIs and fostering collaboration.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and accounting systems (e.g., Helix, Xero).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• 5–7 years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
• CPA license is a plus.
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting platforms such as Helix or Xero.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of ₱50,000 – ₱60,000 per month.
• Compressed Monday‑Friday schedule (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM).
• On‑site work in Metro Manila, near Quiapo Church.
