Accounting Manager – Financial Reporting & Team Lead

About the role

The Accounting Manager will ensure the delivery of accurate, complete, and timely financial reports to senior management. This role combines strong technical accounting expertise with leadership of a team responsible for day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver financial reports to management within agreed timelines and formats.
• Review income statements, notes to financial statements, general ledger, balance‑sheet accounts, and perform reconciliations.
• Identify improvement areas, recommend policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Manage a team of processors and validators, providing coaching, performance feedback, and training.
• Address internal and external stakeholder inquiries related to financial reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum six (6) years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
• At least three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience with internal or external financial audits is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead new teams and foster a shared‑services environment.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, and relationship‑building skills.
