Accounting Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to head our finance team. In this position you will ensure accurate financial reporting, oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, and drive continuous improvement of our accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the accounting team in daily operations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
• Monitor and review general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies as needed.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Improve accounting systems and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, BIR reporting, and bookkeeping.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using financial analysis tools.
• Knowledge of BIR reporting requirements.
