Accountant – Staff & Senior Positions

About the role

We are seeking qualified accountants to join our finance team. Both staff and senior level candidates are welcome to apply. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax filings, and supporting month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting journals, ledgers and logs for all business transactions.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Compile input and output tax summaries for BIR VAT Relief Program filing.
• Issue check vouchers and checks after verifying supporting documents.
• Monitor daily transactions and maintain subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements and reconcile accounts.
• Assist in monthly closings and ensure compliance with BIR, SEC and local government requirements.
• File BIR requirements through EEPS (e.g., withholding tax, VAT).
• Conduct audits of existing accounting procedures and perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Graduate of BS in Accountancy.
• For senior accountant role: minimum 3‑5 years relevant experience.
• For staff accountant role: at least 1 year relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable.
• Proficient in oral and written English.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
