Accountant – Remote (Philippines)

About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to support a growing private‑equity firm. Working remotely from the Philippines, you will collaborate daily with the U.S. finance team to keep accounting operations accurate and efficient.
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, including billing, invoice tracking, payment follow‑ups and recording.
- Process accounts payable, vendor payments, invoice reviews and expense coding.
- Maintain QuickBooks books, support month‑end and quarter‑end close, and perform general‑ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare internal financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, budget vs. actuals and cash forecasts.
- Assist with fund compliance tasks, quarterly reporting, borrowing requests and fund administrator reconciliations.
- Support investor relations by handling wire instructions, data organization and confidential documentation.
- Provide administrative coordination including calendar management, travel arrangements and ad‑hoc projects.
Required profile
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, A/R, A/P, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Experience in financial services, venture capital or private equity is preferred.
- Excellent organization, time‑management and communication skills.
