Accountant – Intercompany Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage intercompany transactions and support the financial reporting process. The role involves preparing, reconciling, and analysing ledger accounts, as well as providing forecasting and budgeting support for intercompany activities.

Key responsibilities

• Post intercompany recharges, invoices and credit memos and ensure timely expense and revenue recognition.
• Prepare, post and review month‑end close tasks and reconcile intercompany balances across all divisions.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and create decks for Business Unit reviews.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis for intercompany transactions.
• Ensure quarterly reporting of intercompany balances and assist with audit requirements.
• Serve as the first point of contact for daily intercompany queries and proactively resolve issues.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 4 years of record‑to‑report or billing experience.
• Experience in a medium to large, preferably multinational, corporate environment.
• Strong English communication skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with enterprise accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoft.
• Ability to learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies.
