Accountant III – Finance & Accounting Role

About the role
The Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) is seeking a qualified Accountant III to join its Administrative Financial and Management Division. This position supports financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting records and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries and financial statements.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards and CIAP internal policies.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audit processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration major in Accounting or a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience.
- Completion of at least 8 hours of relevant training.
- Eligibility under RA 1080 (Civil Service Eligibility).
Required skills
- Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in basic accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
