Accountant I – Finance & Accounting

About the role

Continental Tires Manila Business Services Inc. is looking for a motivated Accountant I to join its finance team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end and year‑end closing, and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, including PP&E and accruals.
• Prepare and verify general ledger entries.
• Execute system tasks to support month‑end closing.
• Use the fixed‑asset module to capitalize and dispose of assets.
• Analyze, clear, and report on GR/IR accounts.
• Conduct financial analysis for management and external reporting.
• Test internal control systems according to corporate requirements.
• Budget various balance‑sheet values.
• Assist with special projects such as PowerBI reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• High level of integrity and ethics.
• Willingness to work mid‑shift or night‑shift schedules as needed.
• Hybrid work setup.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with fixed‑asset accounting modules.
• PowerBI reporting experience.
