Accountant – ₱20,000 Signing Bonus

About the role

The General Accountant will handle a wide range of accounting duties to ensure the company’s financial transactions comply with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. This role supports accurate financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes while staying current with relevant laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and various financial reports.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, maintain the general ledger, and ensure accuracy of accounting books.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Conduct financial analysis, develop basic financial models, and provide analytical dashboards for performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, BIR regulations, and other statutory requirements, including tax filings.
• Support internal audits, identify control gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes, including bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to transform operational data into financial insights.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and supporting audit activities.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
