Account Management Manager – MCDS Philippines

About the role

Based in Manila, the Manager, Account Management for Mastercard Direct Services (MCDS) reports to the Regional MCDS team and leads a portfolio of long‑tail accounts in the Philippines. The role combines account growth, new‑business development and strategic project ownership, requiring a proactive, commercially‑driven mindset and strong relationship‑building capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the in‑market portfolio of long‑tail accounts, managing and expanding both existing and new customers to meet sales and net‑revenue targets.
• Develop and present actionable account plans, quarterly business reviews and profitability models, including financial forecasting and competitive analysis.
• Leverage Mastercard’s product suite to design proposals, pitch deals and drive business expansion within assigned accounts.
• Own day‑to‑day account management, resolve operational issues, prepare data‑driven reports and coordinate with internal stakeholder teams.
• Conceive and drive strategic projects that increase Mastercard’s share in the long‑tail segment.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years experience in the issuing, acquiring or payments industry with a blend of account management and business‑development sales.
• Strong analytical ability to use internal and external data for business growth and performance management.
• Collaborative mindset capable of building productive relationships across a matrix‑based organization.
• Customer‑focused, self‑motivated, resilient under pressure and able to prioritize workload effectively.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving projects to completion.
