WEDM Operator

About the role

The WEDM Operator is responsible for setting up and running Wire Electrical Discharge Machining equipment to produce high‑precision components. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate and operate WEDM machines according to production orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining parameters.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Record production data and maintain accurate logs.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to meet production targets.
• Follow safety protocols and keep the workspace clean.

Required profile

• Diploma in machining technology or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience operating WEDM equipment.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
