Water Treatment Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Water Treatment Operator to manage the operation and maintenance of our water and wastewater treatment facilities in Masinloc, Zambales. The successful candidate will ensure that all processes meet quality, environmental and safety standards while maintaining continuous, efficient plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment systems in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to guarantee safe and efficient plant operation.
• Handle chemicals safely, oversee proper disposal procedures, and maintain related documentation.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, SOPs and process documentation to support daily activities.
• Communicate effectively via email, radio and telephone with team members and supervisors.
• Support basic power plant operations when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (license preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience in water or wastewater treatment plant operations, or completion of a relevant Cadetship Program.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and disposal procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and SOPs.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to safe work practices.
• Willingness to be based in Masinloc, Zambales.
