Veterinarian – Farm Biosecurity & Swine Health (Stay‑In)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Veterinarian to join our farm‑based team on a stay‑in basis. The role focuses on safeguarding biosecurity, health and welfare of pigs across our contract‑growing farms while supporting productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee farm biosecurity, pig health and welfare across contract‑growing farms.
• Develop and implement disease prevention, vaccination and treatment programmes.
• Conduct farm audits to ensure compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare and operational continuity.
• Diagnose diseases, recommend treatments and lead outbreak investigations.
• Manage disease surveillance, sampling, reporting and BAI compliance.
• Provide technical training and guidance to farm personnel and growers.
• Maintain veterinary and production records, prepare health reports and coordinate with laboratories, government agencies and suppliers.
• Monitor mortality and morbidity rates, analyse health data and support decisions that improve productivity and profitability.

Required profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduate with a valid PRC Veterinary License.
• 2‑3 years experience in commercial swine production, preferably in contract‑growing operations.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive a 4‑wheel vehicle.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Veterinary diagnostics and disease management for swine.
