Vendor Business Development Representative (B2B)

About the role

We are looking for a Vendor Business Development Representative (B2B) to join our Awesome CX by Transcom team at the Davao site. You will identify and engage local chefs, caterers, food trucks and restaurants, and guide them toward a booked meeting with our vendor onboarding specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full onboarding cycle from prospecting to discovery calls.
• Research and engage vendors daily using cold‑call and email techniques.
• Identify high‑quality culinary vendors that add value to our vendor base.
• Schedule vendor meetings with the Vendor Onboarding Specialist team.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships based on trust and accountability.
• Make a set number of cold‑call dials each day and achieve 3‑4 booked meetings per week.

Required profile

• Several years of B2B business development experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to develop and maintain long‑lasting relationships with contacts ranging from executive chefs to catering managers.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Leadership skills and ability to collaborate to generate measurable results.
• Excellent communication, mediation and conflict‑management abilities.
• Persuasive, turning objections into agreements.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of the national and local food & culinary scene.
• Strong technological aptitude.
