US Tax Datasets QA Analyst

About the role

Ubiquity is looking for a US Tax Datasets specialist to ensure the accuracy and compliance of tax‑related data sets. You will work closely with CPAs to validate and finalize datasets that support client and IRS requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality‑assurance checks on tax data sets prepared by CPAs.
• Validate data completeness, document presence, and correct tax calculations.
• Reconcile figures across forms such as 1040, W‑2, and 1099.
• Ensure consistency between supporting documents and the main data set.
• Confirm that all data meet client and IRS compliance standards.
• Format and finalize data sets for delivery to clients.

Required profile

• Mandatory background in accounting or commerce.
• Familiarity with US taxation concepts (preferred).
• CPA internship experience or exposure to tax‑return preparation is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of tax calculations and reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail for QA and validation tasks.
• Candidates without direct US tax experience but with solid accounting fundamentals may be trained.
