US Staff Accountant – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

You will join a full‑time remote team based in the Philippines, working directly with a US client on tax preparation, accounting engagements, and client problem‑solving. Regular virtual meetings ensure training, collaboration, and connection from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare federal income tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120)
• Review balance sheets, general ledgers, trial balances, and P&Ls
• Prepare adjusting journal entries and financial statements
• Support bookkeeping and accounting projects in QuickBooks
• Research tax and accounting questions and recommend practical solutions
• Use Excel, cloud tools, and AI to boost accuracy and efficiency

Required profile

• Prior public accounting experience, including hands‑on tax return preparation
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and strong Excel skills
• Sound analytical judgment and attention to detail
• Comfort with technology and eagerness to adopt new tools
• Clear written and verbal English communication
• Integrity and a firm commitment to client confidentiality
