Unit Manager – Financial Advisors Team Lead

About the role

The Unit Manager will lead and develop a team of financial advisors for Manulife Philippines, driving sales performance while ensuring compliance and high‑quality client service. Based in Metro Manila, the role combines on‑site leadership with flexible work‑from‑home days.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and mentor financial advisors, fostering continuous skill development.
• Set and monitor individual and team sales targets, ensuring achievement and growth.
• Oversee daily sales activities, review client portfolios, and provide guidance on complex cases.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, ethical standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align unit strategies with Manulife’s business objectives.
• Support marketing initiatives and customer engagement programs.
• Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and drive business expansion.
• Prepare regular performance reports and present insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience, preferably in insurance, banking or financial services.
• Strong sales and business‑development track record with consistent target achievement.
• Excellent relationship‑building and customer‑service abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication, capable of explaining financial concepts clearly.
• Analytical mindset with experience in goal setting, forecasting and data interpretation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; relevant licenses a plus.
• High integrity, professionalism and commitment to ethical standards.

Required skills
