Treasury and Tax Specialist

About the role

The Treasury and Tax Specialist will manage end‑to‑end cash operations, revenue monitoring, and tax compliance for Angkas. You will ensure accurate journal entries, reconcile accounts, and coordinate with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to meet regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post collection‑related journal entries and monitor cashier activities.
• Handle corporate sales, sharetreats, motorcycle maintenance, auto‑parts, and advertisement revenue transactions.
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations, analyze cashless transaction gaps, and reconcile voucher sales.
• Execute month‑end closing tasks, including detailed bank reconciliations, cashless payment clearing reports, revenue accruals, and billing for corporate accounts.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable lead schedules and issue BIR Form 2307.
• Prepare monthly tax journal entries, submit reports to third‑party tax filers, and coordinate directly with BIR representatives on audits and letters of authority.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, or Tax Compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with bank reconciliation, billing, collections, and revenue monitoring.
• Familiarity with BIR regulations and tax filing procedures.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• CPA license is a plus but not required.
