Transportation Coordinator

About the role

The Transportation Coordinator will be based in the Philippines supporting LOGCAP operations. This role oversees cargo truck convoys, staging areas, and movement‑control activities while ensuring equipment safety and mission readiness in demanding environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all transportation movements and schedule compliance.
• Source new transportation modes and carriers; analyze freight costs.
• Coordinate security requirements and link teams for required moves.
• Retrieve, verify, and distribute convoy reports; follow up on missing documentation.
• Create circulation overlays and maintain historical movement data.
• Lead cargo‑truck convoys, ensuring mission coordination, equipment safety, and accountability.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts up to 100K container handlers) and manage HAZMAT documentation.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid host‑nation driver’s license.
• Filipino citizenship.
• Minimum four years of experience in transportation or movement‑control operations.
• Ability to work under extreme temperatures (up to 120 °F) and harsh indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize a demanding workload.

Required skills

• HAZMAT documentation handling.
• Material handling equipment (MHE) operation, including forklift models 4K‑100K.
• Convoy program management.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency.
• Computation of center of balance and weight calculations for rolling stock equipment.
