Transport & Customs Officer

About the role

The Transport & Customs Officer will manage the end‑to‑end process of transporting goods and ensure compliance with all customs regulations for Alstom in Ortigas, Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee shipping coordination, ensuring timely transportation of goods and alignment with project requirements.
• Ensure all shipments comply with local and international customs regulations and prepare required documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and permits.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation and customs documents, safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
• Conduct risk assessments on shipments and transport routes, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other transportation personnel.
• Update internal procedures related to transport and customs operations as needed.
