Transport Coordinator

About the role

The Transport Coordinator ensures that all truck requirements for CEVA are met to achieve the Required Arrival Date and Time (RADRAT) as required by customers. This role involves coordinating bookings, managing documentation, and supporting logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and qualify booking templates from the CEVA operations department and encode them into the CRR Cargo releasing report.
• Book truck requirements with carriers to meet RADRAT, including TABS booking, gate passes, ATW, and other shipment documents.
• Coordinate final booking details with truckers, provide status updates to operations and customers, and ensure empty containers are returned on time.
• Maintain milestones in CRR, act as backup for GT Coordinators and Document Assistants, and document any unnecessary charges.
• Assist in retrieving ageing PODs, ensure trucking KPIs are met, and properly file all GT documents.

Required profile

• Completed 4‑year course.
• At least 1 year of relevant logistics or transport coordination experience.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and job‑specific software.
• Accurate typing and data‑entry skills, with ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
