Transition Management - Supervising Associate

About the role

EY GDS India, part of the global integrated service delivery centre network, is hiring a Transition Management Supervising Associate in Taguig. Transition management covers planning, knowledge transfer, risk management, stakeholder coordination and operational readiness when moving business operations, services or processes to a new environment, with the goal of minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own the transition lifecycle of applications and services, from design to production handover, and define plans, timelines, entry/exit criteria and deliverables
• Ensure readiness of infrastructure, hosting and environments, application deployments, configurations and integrations, and L1/L2/L3 support
• Validate non-functional readiness: performance, failover, backup/recovery, monitoring, security, compliance, supportability and maintainability
• Complete transition checklists, runbooks, SOPs and knowledge transfer
• Act as the central point between project/delivery teams, operations (Global Ops / Service Management) and infrastructure and platform teams, coordinating defect resolution, risk closure and readiness gaps
• Lead Go/No-Go decisions and permit-to-operate discussions, govern warranty/early life support, SLAs/OLAs and transition risk logs
• Track progress, readiness scores and risks, and produce dashboards and leadership reports

Required profile

• 8-12 years of experience in transition, service management or delivery
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, operations management or a related field
• Prior experience in transition or project management with knowledge of the IT industry and ITIL concepts
• Ideally: PMP or PRINCE2 certification, exposure to global delivery models and cross-border transitions, and experience managing large-scale transitions with many stakeholders

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ITIL Service Transition processes; ITIL v3 or v4 foundation training preferred
• Experience with RTPA / Operational Readiness frameworks and Agile methodology
• Good understanding of testing, infrastructure and application lifecycle
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and project management software
