Training Specialist

About the role

The Training Specialist designs, delivers, and evaluates learning programs for retail store staff and corporate employees. This position ensures that teams have the knowledge and skills needed to provide excellent customer service, meet sales goals, and follow company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis with Operations, HR, and department heads.
• Develop and deliver onboarding, customer service, product knowledge, sales techniques, and store operations training.
• Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on‑the‑job sessions for both store and head‑office personnel.
• Create and update manuals, job aids, e‑learning modules, and assessment tools.
• Support roll‑outs of new products, promotions, systems, and initiatives through targeted training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, observations, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Visit stores to observe performance, identify gaps, and coach teams and supervisors.
• Maintain compliance records, coordinate training schedules, venues, and logistics.
• Assist in developing leadership and supervisory programs for high‑potential employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Retail Operations.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and public‑speaking abilities.
• Experience in instructional design and training material development.
• Willingness to travel to stores and regional locations.
