Training Specialist – Google Ads

About the role

We are looking for a Training Specialist focused on Google Ads to prepare new and existing employees for accurate and compliant digital advertising operations. The role is fully remote and involves delivering classroom and virtual training, creating curriculum, and supporting learners during early production.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver new‑hire, refresher, remedial and cross‑training for Ad Operations staff in both classroom and virtual settings.
• Partner with subject‑matter experts to design client‑specific and platform‑specific training, including practical exercises and campaign simulations.
• Create and maintain training materials, SOPs, job aids, and assessments, ensuring version control and alignment with process updates.
• Assess production readiness, conduct skill‑set reviews, and provide coaching or remediation as needed.
• Support nesting and early production through observation, feedback, and coordination with team leads and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum two years of hands‑on Ad Operations experience, including campaign setup, trafficking, QA, reporting or optimization.
• Proven experience designing and delivering structured training or onboarding programs.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with at least one advertising platform such as Google Ads, Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, Search Ads 360, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, or The Trade Desk.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering, reporting).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
