Remote Expert Tutor (Philippines)

About the role

Kamel Learning is seeking qualified Online Tutors based in the Philippines to deliver personalized, technology‑enabled instruction to college and medical students worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging online lessons across subjects such as Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, MCAT and USMLE preparation.
• Explain complex concepts clearly, adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles, and help students develop effective study and problem‑solving skills.
• Assess student needs, monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and create or select appropriate practice materials.
• Maintain accurate session records, communicate professionally with students and authorized family members, and use video‑conferencing and online learning tools effectively.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the listed subjects and ability to explain academic or medical concepts accurately.
• Strong written and spoken English communication, professionalism, empathy, and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Prior tutoring, teaching, mentoring or coaching experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (preferred) and relevant medical credentials for MCAT/USMLE tutoring (strongly preferred).
• Reliable computer equipment, stable internet connection, and a suitable environment for professional online instruction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video‑conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
• Experience using online teaching tools and learning management systems.
• General computer proficiency and ability to manage digital instructional materials.
