TMP Designer - Traffic Management (Remote)

About the role

A New Zealand-based traffic and safety management provider, supported by its client, prepares practical and compliant Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) solutions for roadworks, civil construction and infrastructure projects. As a TMP Designer you prepare Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Corridor Access Requests (CARs), traffic management diagrams and related planning documentation, working with Operations teams, STMSs, clients and Road Controlling Authorities. The role is 100% remote under an Independent Contractor Agreement, following NZ business hours, with a stated salary of PHP 95,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and amend TMPs in line with NZGTTM and RCA requirements, and review them when project needs or site conditions change
• Develop accurate traffic management diagrams and practical TTM solutions that protect workers, road users and the public
• Work with Operations teams, Branch Managers and STMSs, and liaise with clients, councils and approval agencies
• Coordinate CARs, permits and related documentation, and monitor submissions and approvals
• Maintain accurate records of TMPs, revisions and approvals, and keep documentation complete and on time
• Stay up to date with NZGTTM and RCA requirements, review feedback and take part in training
• Apply a safety-first approach and follow health, safety, quality and environmental procedures

Required profile

• Experience in traffic management planning, TMP design or a related TTM role
• Experience preparing TMPs, creating traffic management diagrams and using RapidPlan or similar software
• Understanding of Road Controlling Authority requirements and approval processes
• Desirable: current TTM Planner qualification, STMS qualification, previous operational traffic management experience, CARs and permit experience, full New Zealand driver licence

Required skills

• Working knowledge of the New Zealand Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (NZGTTM)
• RapidPlan or similar traffic management planning software
• Attention to detail, organisation and time management, and strong written and verbal communication
