Thermal Service Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Thermal Service Operations Supervisor leads testing, commissioning, preventive maintenance and time‑and‑material activities for thermal equipment in data‑centre environments. The role ensures high‑quality service delivery while maintaining safety standards and fostering strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and oversee testing, commissioning and preventive maintenance of CRAC, AHU, Thermal Wall and related thermal products.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to field engineers, and coordinate troubleshooting with technical support teams and third‑party vendors.
• Author Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Site Acceptance Test procedures and Incident Reports.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety requirements, provision of PPE, tools and calibrated instruments.
• Support the Service Operations Manager in scheduling, resource allocation and departmental planning.
• Drive team training, performance appraisal, motivation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain client relationships, promptly address complaints and uphold company standards of professionalism.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of field experience with thermal products (CRAC, AHU, Thermal Wall), preferably in data‑centre settings.
• At least 3 years of experience managing a team of engineers.
• Strong technical knowledge of data‑centre, M&E and critical environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation and cross‑cultural collaboration skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and capable of planning to meet targets.
