Test Technician

About the role

Teradyne is seeking a detail‑oriented Test Technician to execute full test procedures on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and ensure compliance with handling standards. The role involves hands‑on work in a manufacturing environment, troubleshooting failures, and collaborating with engineers to maintain product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up PCBA assemblies, place them into test systems or TBUs, and run defined test procedures.
• Interpret failure logs, follow troubleshooting steps, and repair boards when possible.
• Perform visual inspections to verify rework quality and detect physical defects.
• Pack and ship completed boards according to company guidelines.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors on process improvements, reliability issues, and department goals.
• Adhere to all company rules, policies, and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate in Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics.
• Relevant experience in board repair and electronics troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of de‑soldering, re‑soldering, and PCBA handling procedures.
• Computer literate and able to work in a goal‑oriented, flexible environment.
