About the role
The Technical Support Representative I provides high‑quality telephonic technical assistance to LexisNexis customers, handling software, network, database and browser issues while supporting account‑related services.
Key responsibilities
- Guide customers through product features, install/uninstall software via remote sessions, and perform product upgrades.
- Diagnose network versus local computer problems, manage drive mapping, folder permissions and Windows security.
- Maintain database integrity through troubleshooting and migration tasks.
- Analyze technical, billing and accounting issues and initiate escalations when needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or at least two years of college completed.
- Minimum two years of Technical Support Representative or Customer Service Representative experience.
- Detail‑oriented, able to multitask while documenting interactions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Remote software installation and troubleshooting.
- Windows operating system proficiency.
- Database maintenance and migration.
- Network troubleshooting and security configuration.
- Browser compatibility testing for LexisNexis Online products.
- CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks (advantage).
