Technical Services Technician

About the role

The Technical Services Technician supports the delivery of electrical projects by preparing tools, conducting testing, and assisting with installations across the Philippines. This role works closely with Service Engineers and Lead Technicians to ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tools, materials, testing equipment, and vehicle before project implementation.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of department tools, testing equipment, and vehicle.
• Conduct electrical testing, commissioning, maintenance, equipment evaluation, and inspection for all Technical Services projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults encountered during project execution.
• Prepare and install power supplies for testing equipment.
• Assist in electrical installation projects and maintain test results, data, and records.
• Encode test results with preliminary analysis and recommendations.
• Support the submission of test reports and invoices to customers.
• Assist with inventory of tools and testing equipment.
• Report directly to the Service Engineer/Lead Service Technician and perform other tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate of an electrical vocational course (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years experience in electrical equipment engineering, power plant, technical services contracting, or manufacturing as a service technician.
• No acrophobia and comfortable working at heights.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work long hours during project execution.
• Willingness to be assigned to any location in the Philippines and to drive manual or automatic vehicles with a valid license.
