Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead Lavie Group’s tax function, overseeing the preparation and filing of national and local taxes, ensuring compliance, and providing advisory support to business units. This role combines operational tax management with strategic guidance to optimise tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns and payments on time.
• Verify that local business and real‑property taxes are reasonable and comply with current tax laws.
• Maintain company compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
• Manage disputed or resolved tax assessments.
• Provide tax advisory services and support to various business units.
• Lead projects aimed at simplifying processes, reducing errors, and improving overall tax compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• LLB/JD or legal background is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax practice, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with big‑four or comparable tax service firms.
• Proven experience in tax compliance review, tax assessments, and tax advisory services.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
