Tax Compliance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Compliance Officer to join our Manila hub and ensure accurate tax reporting for our fast‑growing ride‑hailing platform. The role involves managing tax compliance, preparing filings and supporting other departments with tax‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and file corporate, income, sales and property tax returns.
• Conduct regular tax audits and reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
• Research and analyse tax legislation to uncover potential benefits.
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities to maintain compliance.
• Analyse financial data for tax implications and potential savings.
• Provide tax support to finance, accounting and legal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant experience in tax, preferably within technology or transportation.
• CPALE passer or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Experience using accounting systems.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools for monitoring tax trends.
