Tax & Compliance Accountant

About the role

Eucalyptus, a consumer healthcare platform, is looking for a Tax & Compliance Accountant for its Philippine entity, a shared services branch supporting its brands globally. The role owns the day-to-day compliance calendar for BIR, SEC and BOI requirements, works closely with external advisors and builds in-house knowledge, and reports to the Tax Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file the Philippine corporate income tax return and withholding tax, with supporting schedules and reconciliations.
• Keep corporate filings current: SEC annual reporting and audited financial statements, and BOI registration and incentive reporting.
• Build in-house understanding of BIR, SEC and BOI requirements, track regulatory change and document it for the team.
• Act as day-to-day contact for local tax agents and statutory auditors, and support BIR audits and assessments.
• Support intercompany and cross-border compliance, including related-party disclosures and transfer pricing documentation.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations and audit readiness, and document processes so they run on a system.

Required profile

• 3-5 years in tax and statutory compliance in the Philippines (Big 4, mid-tier practice or in-house).
• Hands-on experience preparing and filing Philippine corporate income tax and withholding tax returns.
• Knowledge of BIR, SEC and BOI processes; exposure to a BIR audit is a plus.
• CPA qualification desirable but not essential; strong practical experience matters more.
• Clear communicator across time zones, comfortable with ambiguity and with work spanning tax, accounting and legal.

• NetSuite is a nice to have, not required.
