Tax Accountant – Australian Tax & Financial Reporting (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Tax Accountant to deliver accurate Australian tax and financial reporting services for individuals and businesses. This full‑time, permanent remote position offers exposure to a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary environment and the chance to grow your expertise in Australian tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare individual tax returns in line with ATO regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, partnerships and trusts.
• Assist with BAS/IAS lodgements and other ATO reporting requirements.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and ensure compliance with Australian tax law.
• Collaborate with senior advisors to deliver high‑quality client outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in Australian tax accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Xero (including Xero Tax and Xero Practice Manager).
• Familiarity with ATO lodgment processes, BAS and IAS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
