System Analyst — Payments & Finance Operations

About the role

The OPS Tech Payments & Finance stream is expanding key initiatives across operational payments and finance processes. We are looking for a System Analyst to add analytical capacity, strengthen methodology, and build scalable, compliant solutions for large operational payment platforms and finance‑related processes.

Key responsibilities

• Translate operational and business requirements into structured product specifications, including mock‑ups, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with operations and finance teams to understand day‑to‑day work and transform it into clear, regulated processes.
• Design operational interfaces and the workflows behind them, ensuring they fit existing journeys.
• Connect processes to underlying systems, assess integration capabilities, and define required changes.
• Support migration and extension of functionality on the new platform, hand over specifications to development, and assist with testing, releases, and stakeholder demos.
• Drive automation across payment platforms, branch cash operations, clearing, reconciliation, and related finance processes to reduce manual work and improve audit readiness.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a business or system analyst in banking or financial services.
• Solid understanding of banking products, operational processes, and the regulatory environment.
• Experience designing compliant processes and embedding new workflows into existing operational journeys.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work across business, operations, finance, and technology teams.
• English proficiency at B2 level for collaboration with international colleagues.

Required skills

• Payments domain knowledge (card transactions, settlements, clearing, reconciliation).
• API integration, queue management, and data‑exchange mechanisms.
• SQL and BI/DWH experience.
• Low‑code CRM/BPM platforms such as Creatio, Salesforce, or Pega.
