System Administrator (Pooling) – Senior Level

About the role

The Senior Systems Administrator will own the design, deployment, and maintenance of large‑scale enterprise infrastructure. This role focuses on complex, high‑density environments that require deep expertise in Microsoft System Center, HP hardware, and enterprise backup solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage configuration deployment using SCCM, monitoring site‑to‑site communication and client health.
• Plan, execute, and troubleshoot automated patch deployments across the organization.
• Maintain the enterprise monitoring framework with SCOM, handling alerts, health metrics, and baseline configurations.
• Oversee high‑density physical clusters (HP ProLiant rackmount, blade servers, and enclosures) and storage area networks (HP 3PAR/Primera, HP Autoloaders).
• Administer virtualization platforms based on Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• Ensure data backup and recovery integrity using EMC Networker, Dell EMC Avamar, and integrated data protection appliances.
• Track hardware degradation and connectivity issues via HP OneView.
• Manage server lifecycle activities, including commissioning, decommissioning, disk sanitization, and documentation for IT audits.
• Develop technical action plans for critical incidents under strict SLA timelines.
• Support advanced security services such as MDM, KMS server monitoring, and Root Certificate Authority management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with enterprise System Center suites (SCCM, SCOM 2013+).
• Proven experience with HP server and storage hardware, including tape libraries and 3PAR/Primera arrays.
• Strong background in enterprise backup solutions (EMC Networker 9.2.1+).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Lync/Teams, Symantec Backup Exec, Sophos, cloud services, and ITIL v3.
