System Administrator

About the role

DataOne is seeking a System Administrator to join its IT Infrastructure team. Reporting to the CTO, you will be responsible for maintaining and securing both physical and virtual server environments that support the company’s large‑scale AI and energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server and Debian Linux servers, both physical and virtual.
• Deploy and configure software, manage backups and implement disaster‑recovery plans.
• Monitor system health and service availability using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Automate deployments and configurations with Ansible and GitLab CI/CD.
• Apply basic networking concepts (L2/L3, VLAN, firewalls) and troubleshoot technical incidents.
• Document systems and procedures, track projects, and suggest continuous improvements.
