Supply Planning Executive

About the role

The Supply Planning Executive is responsible for building supply plans that respect available capacity, ensuring finished and semi‑finished goods are available with high freshness at the right locations, times and quantities to meet customer demand while minimizing cost.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an 18‑month production plan for assigned factories, including subcontractors, co‑manufacturers and co‑packers, aligned with available capacity.
• Establish committed capacity, propose plant shutdowns or investments, and provide labor requirement information.
• Analyse dispatch requirements and maintain coordinated supply and deployment plans for finished or semi‑finished goods within defined stock corridors.
• Support promotional activities and new product launches, protecting cost of freight and minimizing write‑offs.
• Regularly review and adjust stock policies for finished goods across all locations in collaboration with market planners.
• Provide visibility on future supply constraints and create simulated alternative scenarios for decision‑making.
• Challenge manufacturing and demand planning teams to optimise inventory freshness and improve demand forecast accuracy.
• Act as Process Champion for defined supply planning processes and ensure clear communication of supply issues and trade‑offs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end supply planning or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate capacity, demand and inventory balances.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with manufacturing, demand planning, logistics and market teams.
• Experience in scenario planning and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
• Capability to manage stock policies, promotional launches and new product introductions.
